The Pharmacy First Plus service in Maybole and Dalrymple includes the assessment and treatment of acute common clinical conditions.
The purpose of the service is to provide an easily accessible service for common clinical conditions that are beyond the scope of the standard NHS Pharmacy First Scotland service. It ensures the patient receives the most appropriate and expedient care – reducing the pressures on general practice and urgent care colleagues and systems.
Conditions may include (but are not limited to):
– Urinary tract infections
– Respiratory infections
– Ear, nose and throat
– Dermatological presentations
– Allergies
– Eye infections
